My name is Jesse Cortez. I’m work in web design and video production. My main focus is on HTML and CSS , Javascript and Wordpress customization. I also work with Flash Actionscript and PHP. As for Video Production, my skills take me from holding the camera to creating the final tape, DVD, or web stream.

My Background

I’m a native to the San Francisco Bay Area and I still kick around an island city at the heart of it. After graduating from San Francisco State University with a degree in Cinema Production, I quickly traded dusty, scratchy celluloid for some shiny new digital tools. Since 1999 I’ve worked in development and production of Web design and architecture, Video pre & post-production, Video deployment on DVD, CD-ROM and web-streaming. Currently I’m working full-time in the realm of Online Education at the Academy of Art in San Francisco.

When I’m not touching a mouse or keyboard, I have a few tinny old cars to keep me busy (and they do keep me busy). I also take plenty of time to enjoy the cuisine and weather afforded by this mighty fine region I live in.
